Our Founder’s Story

Since founding our firm, Kell & Fiegel, PLLC, Orlando Kell has focused our practice solely on family law. This is his story.

How Orlando Kell Discovered His Passion

Mr. Kell grew up in El Paso, Texas, and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and graduated in 2005 in the top 10% of his class.

During his time at St. Mary’s, Mr. Kell discovered his passion for working with families. He dedicated himself to one year of pro bono service at the St. Mary’s Center for Legal and Social Justice. In that role, he served as a student attorney in representing indigent clients. It was gratifying work, and he received the law school’s Pro Bono Achievement Award. More importantly, he found his calling.

After earning his law license in November 2005, Mr. Kell opened his law office and dedicated himself to representing individuals and families in San Antonio and the surrounding area.

He is in the Bexar County Courthouse in San Antonio nearly every day representing his clients in family law cases. Mr. Kell takes pride in being thoroughly prepared and acting in the best interests of his clients.

A Member Of The Texas Exes

In his personal life, Mr. Kell is passionate about three things: animal rights, the Texas Longhorns and music. He plays drums and guitar. He is also a loyal member of the Texas Exes, the alumni association for the University of Texas at Austin.
