I grew up in El Paso, Texas, and earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. I attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and graduated in 2005 in the top 10 percent of my class.
How I Discovered My Passion
During my time at St. Mary’s, I discovered I have a passion for working with families. I dedicated myself to one year of pro bono service at the St. Mary’s Center for Legal and Social Justice. In that role, I served as a student attorney in representing indigent clients. It was gratifying work, and I received the law school’s Pro Bono Achievement Award. More importantly, I found my calling.
After earning my law license in November 2005, I opened my law office and dedicated myself to representing individuals and families in San Antonio and the surrounding area.
I am in the Bexar County Courthouse in San Antonio nearly every day representing my clients in family law cases. I take pride in being thoroughly prepared and acting in the best interests of my clients.
I Am A Texas Exes
In my personal life, I am passionate about three things: animal rights, the Texas Longhorns and music. I play drums and the guitar. I am a loyal member of the Texas Exes, the alumni association for the University of Texas at Austin.
